Kristen Morris, B.A. (Hons), J.D.

Kristen attended the University of Guelph where she graduated with Distinction with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class. She has participated in two international law school exchanges in Australia and Puerto Rico. During law school, Kristen worked at a family law firm and volunteered with Ottawa’s Supervised Access Program, Legal Aid Clinic in Ottawa, and was a note taker for students with disabilities. Kristen was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.

 

Kristen is a barrister and solicitor practicing primarily in the areas of family law and wills. Specifically, she can help you with your separation; divorce; decision-making responsibilities (formerly “custody”) and parenting time (formerly “access”) & grandparent decision-making responsibilities and parenting time; child and spousal support; property issues; domestic contracts including cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and separation agreements; and adoption. She has appeared in the various levels of family court.

 

Currently, Kristen is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Family Lawyers Association, Dufferin County Law Association, Dufferin Board of Trade and Dufferin Women in Business.
